Making an Earthquake poster

STEAM stands for Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math. In this 2-hour class, we learn about these topics through fun and engaging lessons, using only English. In weeks 2 and 3, the students worked together to plan and design a detailed poster about earthquakes. They began by dividing up the tasks, assigning different sections to each group member based on the specific information they would research. Each student took responsibility for gathering data, conducting research, and writing their section of the poster.

第2週と第3週では、生徒たちは協力して地震についての詳細なポスターを計画し、デザインしました。まず、各メンバーに異なるセクションを割り当て、調べるべき情報を分担しました。それぞれの生徒はデータを集め、調査を行い、ポスターの各セクションを作成する責任を持ちました。

After collecting their information, the students combined everything onto the poster, making sure each section flowed logically and was easy to understand. Once the main content was added, they worked together to improve the poster, deciding to include more facts, definitions for difficult words, and even a survey to ask others how well the poster communicated the information.

情報を集めた後、生徒たちはポスターに全てをまとめ、各セクションが論理的に繋がり、理解しやすくなるように工夫しました。メインの内容が追加された後は、ポスターを改善するために協力し、さらに多くの事実や難しい単語の定義を追加し、他の人にポスターの内容がどれだけ分かりやすかったかを尋ねるアンケートも加えることに決めました。
